Sending a PM (Personal Message)
If you want to contact someone privately, send them a PM. You do this in one of a few different ways, but this one is easy:
If you have a message open that was posted by the person you want to PM, look under their name on the left and click on the right-hand icon.
That opens a window with their name in the address box, and all you have to do is type your message and send it.
A longer way around is if you click on Members in the top menu bar, find the member, click on their name and then their profile opens up and at the bottom you have this option:
There is another way - Click on My Messages, then on New Message and type the recipient's name in the To box. You must put the name in quotation marks or it won't go. To send to Chris, you type "chris". You can click on the ! mark at the end of that box and do a search for your recipient's name if you are not sure how it is spelled.
